Where can you find parks with yurts and cabins to rent?
In Pennsylvania, there are more than 40 state parks that have one or both of them. Some popular spots are Nockamixon State Park in Bucks County, French Creek State Park which straddles both Chester and Berks counties and Gifford Pinchot State Park near Harrisburg.
How far in advance is it recommended to book your trip?
The rule of thumb is to book it as early as possible because reservations at Pennsylvania state parks open 11 months in advance. If you need to cancel a reservation, the fee is $10.
Are all cabins and yurts alike?
No, only modern cabins have bathrooms and camping cottages only have beds, a few chairs and sometimes a table, but no heat and not bathroom.
