Luxury homebuilder Toll Brothers recently purchased 21 acres of undeveloped land in Quakertown for $3.9 million, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
According to plans submitted to Richland Township, the Fort Washington-based company wants to construct 38 single-family homes on the site.
Site improvements for the Bucks County property along East Paletown Road should start “very soon,” said a spokesperson for Toll Brothers. The property is located a little over two miles from downtown Quakertown and 17 miles from Allentown.
“It is truly our driving force to find the best locations, what we call Main and Main,” said Toll Brothers Pennsylvania and Delaware Division President John Dean about the company’s strategy.
The previous owner of the land, Feasterville-based developer Trinity Realty, acquired the property in May 2022 from Prudential Bank for $1.7 million.
The purchase of the land is one more sign of the confidence Toll Brothers has in the Philadelphia region.
“It’s always been an important market for the company,” said Dean. “We’ve always had a strong presence in this region.”
