Perkasie is the Perfect Bucks County Town to Enjoy Fall
Perkasie is the perfect place to spend a day during the fall thanks to its many season-inspired happenings, writes Rebecca Cesa for Visit Bucks County.
On October 1, the town welcomed the annual Fall Festival once again. The entire town center was full of vendors and games, and even a scarecrow on stilts made an appearance. Live music was available in three separate band tents, with local musicians entertaining the crowds of people for hours.
Meanwhile, local places of faith hosted fall-themed games and arts and crafts on 7th Street.
And if you missed the festival, there are still many autumnal activities in Perkasie throughout the month.
The Perkasie Farmer’s Market is available every Saturday and offers amazing farm, craft, and food vendors. The October 28th market will be Halloween-themed.
You can also enjoy pumpkin-themed drinks and desserts at Rise and Grind for the whole month. If you are looking for Perkasie-themed goods, local artists’ pieces, or unique jewelry, be sure to stop by Chimayo Gallery and Gift Shop.
On October 28, the Perkasie Historical Society is offering two in-person walking tours, including a tour along the railroad tracks highlighting where notable events and unusual occurrences have taken place.
