Quakertown racing phenom Paul Owens is getting a vote of confidence from Pennsburg-based Coding & Billing Solutions.

The company has decided to sponsor the 17-year-old racer who is competing to win the 200-lap, 3-stage South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway in November.

Owens is managing his racing career while also being a full-time student and working two jobs.

“When I first met Paul I was blown away,” said Mark Hovan, Vice President at CBS. “There are not too many 17-year-olds who are operating at his level. His drive to win is simply amazing!”

He added that “Paul’s incredible focus and determination is an inspiration to the CBS Team and we are proud to sponsor him for this important milestone race.”

From a young age, Owens immersed himself in the world of motorsports. He started his journey with quarter midgets before transitioning to legend cars when he was 12. He is racing the 2023 season as a development driver for Rette Jones Racing.

“I’m excited for this opportunity with Carroll SpeedShop in partnership with Rette Jones Racing at the South Carolina 400,” said Owens.

He will face off against Dale Earnhardt Jr. and 55 other top drivers in the coming race.
