New Comic Featuring Doylestown Native Pink Coming Out on Her Birthday

Pink is the latest subject of the "Female Force" comic book series published by Tidalwave Productions.

Doylestown native Alecia Beth Moore, better known as Pink, will get a special birthday present this year, reports CBS News Philadelphia.

The popular singer with numerous major hits, including “So What” and “Just Give Me A Reason”, is the newest subject of the “Female Force” comic book series published by Tidalwave Productions. The comic book will hit the stands on Sept. 8, the singer’s 44th birthday.

“Happy Birthday to P!nk!” the publishers said on Facebook. “Here is a special page out of the P!nk comic book now on sale!”

The comic book focuses on Pink’s life and her rise to fame. It also covers her animal-rights efforts, including her work to end New York’s horse-drawn carriage industry.

The singer will be performing back-to-back home shows at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Sept. 18. and 19. Singer Brandi Carlile, along with GROUPLOVE and KidCutUp, will be opening for her at both shows.
