“Do knot lose faith in humanity” is what the Philly Pretzel Factory in Langhorne had to say after its stolen mascot was returned this week.

The pretzel shop, located at 1506 East Lincoln Highway, recently saw its mascot, Doughseph, stolen from the premises. Shortly after the mascot was taken, he was returned to the shop, where he will continue to advertise the shop’s food.

“Doughseph has been returned, flag and all!” the pretzel shop said on Facebook.

“Thanks again to all of you who helped spread the word and of course to the person/people who returned him. Sometimes you just have to give people a chance.”

The Langhorne location has made a name for itself in recent months for a unique reason. Several creative employees of the shop have decided to use their artisitc skills to craft masterpieces and turn them into, yes, pretzels.

One of the employees of the shop recreated Leonardo Da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” using pretzel dough. The piece was later baked and made ready to eat. From bouquets of flowers to birds to cartoon characters, the shop is rife with artists using their skills in the medium of dough.
