The popular community event will be held next week

One of the most popular community events in Bucks County is returning next week, with a wide array of fun activities for everyone.

The St. Ann Carnival and Italian Festival, a longtime fixture of the Bristol community, is set to be held from Aug. 21 – 26 at the namesake church, located at 357 Dorrance Street.

The church, which is a part of the St. Mark Parish, has asked parishoners to sign up to volunteer for the carnival. Some of the options for those who sign up include helping with the basket auction, various carnival activites, and setting up tents, table, chairs, and other neccessary tasks.

According to a flyer that was shared on social media, some of the food that will be offered includes pizza frittes, sausage and peppers, meatballs, clams, and various Italian baked goods. Attendees can enjoy rides, bingo, games, and much more.

This is one of a few fun community events hosted by local Catholic churches each year. Earlier this summer, the St. Michael’s Fair was held at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, located at 66 Levittown Parkway in Levittown, for the 69th year.
