Stretching from Bristol to Easton, the towpath has been a popular place for residents of and visitors to the area who want to enjoy the wonders of nature in the area.

A recent issue with a nature trail in Bucks County has been remedied, allowing locals and visitors to enjoy the area’s great outdoors.

Back in May, a sinkhole formed on a part of the Delaware Canal Towpath in the area of Uhlerstown (Mile Post 39.4). As a result, the towpath was closed at the Farley Wastegate, just south of the town.

Now, the Friends of the Delaware Canal have announced that the sinkhole has been repaired.

“Now you can walk, jog or ride from Tinicum Park to the Homestead for coffee or ice cream,” the organization said online.

Stretching from Bristol to the area of Easton in Northampton County, the towpath has been a popular place for residents of and visitors to the area who want to enjoy the wonders of nature in the area. With much of the path structured alongside the Delaware River, it also gives travelers a glimpse of one of Pennsylvania’s most famous bodies of water.
