Philadelphia Girls Choir Hopes to Sing with Doylestown Native Pink at Upcoming Shows

A musical group in Philadelphia is hoping to perform with one of Bucks County’s biggest stars at an upcoming concert.
With Doylestown native Pink’s back-to-back home shows at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia set to be held on Sept. 18. and 19, the Philadelphia Girls Choir is hoping to be able to perform a specific song with the famed singer.
“We can’t wait for P!nk to get here on tour in September,” the group said in an online post. “What would be even better? If she invited us to sing ‘Cover me in Sunshine’ with her! Share Lainey’s video to help spread the word!”
The choir is a comprehensive music education program for girls ages six and older. Through the use of social media, they hope to be able to reach the singer and coordinate the performance at both shows.
Singer Brandi Carlile, along with GROUPLOVE and KidCutUp, will be opening for her at both shows.
