To the joy of many local shoppers, Lululemon has decided to make its presence in The Village of Newtown shopping center permanent, writes Chris Rollins for 94.5 PST.

The popular store has had a pop up in the town for a few years, but a new sign in the window makes it clear that the pop up days are over and the location is there to stay.

“Here for a good time (and officially, now for a long time),” reads the sign.

The full store is due to open in September. Meanwhile, the location is temporarily closed to complete its transformation into a full, permanent store, the pop up shop has been moved to another spot within the shopping center.

Lululemon sells high-end activewear and accessories for yoga, running, and all other forms of working out.

The new store aims “to create more than a place where people could get gear to sweat in. We wanted to create a community hub where people could learn and discuss the physical aspects of healthy living, mindfulness, and living a life of possibility.”
