Fun Family Fright Night, Scarecrow Contest Coming to Bensalem This Halloween Season

Registration for the scarecrow contest is required and is only for residents of Bensalem.

A township in Bucks County is preparing for one of the most popular Halloween celebrations of the year, with lots of family fun for everyone.

Bensalem Township will be hosting its Fun Family Fright Night & Scarecrow Contest on Oct. 21 from 5 – 9 PM at Bensalem Township Community Park. The event is hosted by Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, the Bensalem Council, and the Bensalem Township Parks and Recreation Department.

“Pre-scheduled activities are provided for your enjoyment and others are available at your leisure,” event organizers said online. “Activities will include a fun haunted house walk through, pumpkin decorating, Halloween craft, Magic Show, Mini Golf, Mad Science Spooky Halloween show, bingo for kids, raffle for adults, treasure haystack and early trick or treat candy.”

Registration for the Fun Family Fright Night is limited. Those interested can call 215-633-3616 and leave their name, address and phone number. It will cost $10 per family. The deadline is Oct. 4.

Registration for the scarecrow contest is required and is only for residents of Bensalem. The contest will be limited to ony 25 families or individuals.
