The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, located at 100 North Main Street in Doylestown, gave a send-off for Deputy District Attorney David A. Keightly Jr., who has worked for the local government since 2012.

Over the years, Keightly has worked to help the office solve several high-profile cases.

“His work has earned Outstanding Prosecutor Awards from the Pennsylvania Narcotic Officers’ Association in 2018 and 2023 for his role in taking down multimillion-dollar drug rings,” the District Attorney’s Office said online. “Last year, he was awarded this office’s annual Robert Rosner Memorial Award for Exceptional Public Service, Professionalism, and Integrity.”

Aside from his career in law, Keightly also ran the office’s softball team. He is also considered a great chef, having recently overseen the office’s first annual chili cookoff.

“I will miss you, this office will miss you, and all of Bucks County will miss you,” District Attorney Matt Weintraub said.
