Meridian Bank has been recognized by American Banker as one of the top-performing mid-size banks with assets between $2 billion and $10 billion in 2022. 

Banks scoring a spot on American Banker’s top 200 list had a median return on average equity of 12.48 percent and the three-year average for this figure was 11.61 percent.  

Meridian Bank landed at No. 27, which is the highest rank in the region. With assets coming in at $2,062,088, their return on average assets was 1.33 percent. Their return on average equity was 12.85 percent and three-year average was 16.66 percent.
