A nonprofit in Bucks County has partnered with a major company to score school essentials for the upcoming school year.

United Way of Bucks County, located at 413 Hood Boulevard in Fairless Hills, recently worked with Staples for the annual “Stuff the Bus” drive, collecting school essentials for children in the community.

The organization worked with Staples locations in Newtown, Doylestown, and Quakertown.

“They selected our organization as a recipient to receive school supply kits through their Community Giveback Program,” the organization said online.

“Thanks to this campaign EVERY backpack distributed through #StufftheBus will contain an extra school supply kit this year! Thank you to Staples and our incredible community who made this possible.”

Back in 2021, the nonprofit was able to donate over 3,000 backpacks to local students in need. The organization is also looking to stockpile supplies to have when students require more school items. Donations such as these can make a huge difference in the quality of a child’s education.
