Bucks County Opens Cooling Centers to Help Seniors, Homelessness Deal with Extreme Heat

These centers will allow those in need to cool down during the heat wave.

With an Excessive Heat Warning in effect in Bucks County since Thursday, the county has opened cooling centers to help seniors and people experiencing homelessness deal with the extreme weather, according to a staff report from WFMZ 69 News.

The cooling locations are available in Upper and Lower Bucks, in Riegelsville, Morrisville, Warminster, Fairless Hills, Bristol, and Bensalem. These will run from 10 AM – 6 PM for the duration of the weather warning.
