Collectively, the township and borough is home to 83,000 people.

An agency in Bucks County is allowing residents to fill out an application for an important service before the week is over.

The Bucks County Board of Assessment has announced the deadline to file 2024 assessment appeals as Aug. 1. Applications with the required fee and applicable documents must be on file in their office or postmarked on or before this date.

“The primary function of the board, which is comprised of three members, is to determine the current market value of all properties in the county and calculate the appropriate assessment,” the board said on its official website.

“The board, whose administrative duties are strictly governed under statutes established by the General Assembly for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, also maintains policies, management operations, and supervises assessments within the county.”

The office for the agency is located on the sixth floor of 55 East Court Street in Doylestown. Those looking to do it in person can visit their offices.
