Members of the public are invited to open houses that will inform Bucks County residents on a major bridge rehabilitation project.

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission will hold an open house on a planned 2024 rehabilitation of the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge on June 15 from 5 – 7 PM. It will be held at the Lambertville Station Inn, located at 11 Bridge Street in Lambertville, just over the bridge from New Hope.

“Motorists, pedestrians, residents, business owners and other interested parties may speak with the project design engineering team, ask questions, and provide comment on the project,” organizers said online.

This will be the second open house regarding the project.

The New Hope-Lambertville Bridge, which connects the namesake towns in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, has been in operation for almost 120 years. Hovering over the Delaware River, the bridge will undergo needed repairs and upgrades to make sure it is safe for the countless travelers who drive and walk from state to state.
