The park has had a new mural painted on its pavilion.

A park in Bucks County recently saw a new mural painted on the property, which shows the area’s sense of community and fellowship.

Burpee Park, located in Doylestown, recently saw its pavilion decorated with a new mural thanks to Lauren Ballew, the borough’s Arts and Crafts Program Director.

Adorned with a field of flowers on the bottom, the mural highlights several known spots around Doylestown, such as the County Theater on East Main Street, the state of Pennsylvania with a heart showing the town’s place, and a picture of the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle.

“Want to host your next party at Burpee Park? It’s only $20 for borough residents! Fill out an application- they can be found on our website,” the borough said online.

Burpee Park has been a longtime favorite spot for locals to enjoy the area’s great outdoors. Back in February, local resident Brian Guerriero received a thank-you from the Doylestown Borough Council for going above and beyond to rehabilitate the park. Mayor Noni West presented Guerriero with a certificate of appreciation for his efforts, including power washing and painting, as well as landscaping.
