If you’re looking for a high-paying job but not sure which industry to dip your toes into, there are plenty of positions that might be under your radar. Here are seven high-paying jobs that are also pretty cool, according to Buzzfeed.  

Horse Braider 

Yes, this is a real thing. Horses need to get their hair braided for “hunter shows.” Braiders can earn $100 to $150 per horse.  

Selling Cannabis (legally) 

As more states legalize medicinal and recreational use of cannabis, dispensaries are cropping up around the country. Dispensary sales associates can make up to $48,000 annually. A manager at a dispensary can make up to $90,000 a year.  

Underwater Welder  

Shipping companies might need repairs, especially after natural disasters. According to Buzzfeed, this lucrative position can earn you $600 an hour.  

Speech Pathologist  

A speech pathologist provides treatment plans for clients who have speech issues. The average annual salary can earn you between $55,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on the facility that you are working in.  

Legal Videographers 

True crime fanatics will love this gig, which pays $60 to $120 an hour to film depositions.  

Cooking for Resource Camps  

There are plenty of reasons why people might be living on a research camp. They could be firefighters, biologists, or other scientific expeditions. Being the on-camp cook can earn you a good amount of cash. Camp cooks can usually earn $25 per hour, but salary varies on the project.  

Stilt Walking 

Whether it be through the streets of Times Square, or at a kid’s birthday party, this stunt can earn byou up to $400 per gig.
