Hunters around the area can now purchase their licenses.

A government organization in Bucks County is offering hunters the chance to purchase the required license they need to engage in their sport.

The Bucks County Treasurer’s Office, along with the Pennsylvania Game Commission, are offering Pennsylvania’s 2023-24 Hunting and Trapping licenses, which are now on sale.

“We are open and issuing,” the organization said online.

“System issues seem to be ok for now. Slow but working!! As always, whatever I can do to help, please call 215-348-6244.”

Starting this year, antlerless licenses are on sale now for resident hunters. These became available for state residents on June 26. Act 148 of 2022 allows the Pennsylvania Game Commission to modernize and simplify how antlerless deer licenses are sold.

“The Treasurer’s Office is responsible for collecting, investing, disbursing and reconciling all county funds. Bucks County is a leader in utilizing the most up-to-date financial technology.”

Being a popular state for hunting, these resources will be helpful for many who engage in the activity.
