A popular art event will be returning to Bucks County this weekend, with several local venues showing incredible pieces.

Officials from Lower Makefield Township have confirmed that the annual “Art in the Park” program will begin on June 10, with an arts and crafts festival being held at the Garden of Reflection 9/11 Memorial, located at 1950 Woodside Road in Yardley. Events will take place from 10 AM – 4 PM.

“Come out this weekend and celebrate Art in the Park” event organizers said online. “There will be live music, art and craft vendors and food. Visit the Seward Johnson Sculptures and and have some fun.”

The program is a partnership with the township and AOY (Artists of Yardley) Art Center, The Seward Johnson Atelier and with the help of Visit Bucks County Art Grant Program. AOY donated $2,500 to the project, while the Township committed $5,000 to the project. Visit Bucks County granted the Artists of Yardley an additional $7,500 for this project.

“This will allow the Township and the Artist of Yardley to imbed 8 sculptures throughout the parks and implement programming that encompasses all forms of art to include visual and performing arts,” organizers said online.
