A musician from Bucks County is returning to his hometown to perform to local residents and visitors after the release of a new album.

Max Swan, a saxophonist, singer, songwriter, and producer who grew up in Perkasie, will be performing at Free Will Brewing on June 2 from 7 – 10 PM. The brewery is located at 410 East Walnut Street, also has a location in Lahaska.

“Initially being the loud alto player that showed up for the jam session every week, Max slowly took on more opportunities in hip hop production, as both a bandleader and a studio producer, playing with a number of artists and groups during their growth in the Philly music scene; notable names include LP Stiles, Kuf Knotz, Mic Stew, and most recently, Aime,” event organizers said online.

Swan learned music at a young age, thanks to a  band director who recognized the talent in him. Over the years, his own style has been shaped and influenced by many albums.
