On June 3, Penn State Abington will be hosting its first ever Touch-a-Truck on campus. This free day of fun is for the whole family. From 11 in the morning to three in the afternoon, visitors can explore the inside of a fire truck, police car, ambulance, and more.

Families and their little ones can learn about how the machines work, while enjoying pretzels and music. The event is presented in partnership with the Abington Township Police Department, Abington Township Fire Department, and Abington Township Public Works Department.

“We are so excited to welcome families to our campus for this educational and fun experience, and we are grateful for the support of Abington police officers, firefighters, and township staff. Penn State Abington is committed to fulfilling our land-grant mission of being a resource for our community, and public events like this Touch a Truck are one way that our campus lives out that mission,” said Penn State Abington chancellor Margo DelliCarpini

Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanies by a parent or legal guardian.
