The new garden will give children the opportunity to learn more about how food is grown.

A farm and education center in Bucks County recently had an important addition built on their property for those visiting.

Snipes Farm and Education Center, located at 890 West Bridge Street in Morrisville, recently has a children’s garden built on their property.

“Thank you to members of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters for this great project!” organizers of the farm said online.

“We are so excited to have the children’s garden ready and as a matter of fact, it was already enjoyed by some!”

The Snipes family has been farming in Bucks County since 1688, and they now use their property to teach local residents the ins and outs of farming, nature, and how to partake in growing food and conserving the environment.

“We envision a world where everyone has access to healthy food, open space and the experience of farming, where local economies are strengthened by the preservation of small farms, and where priority is given to sustaining the earth and its natural resources.”
