Doylestown Medical Organizations Name Buckingham-Based Bank Executive as New COO
Three organizations in the biotechnology sphere, all based in Bucks County, have named their new chief operating officer.
The Hepatitis B Foundation, Baruch S. Blumberg Institute, and Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center, all headquartered in Doylestown, have named Philadelphia bank executive Robert Christmas as their new COO. A native of Buckingham, Christmas most recently served as executive vice president and market president of Customers Bank.
Christmas has spend the vast majority of his life in the Bucks County area. Working in the banking sphere within the local region, he also graduated from LaSalle University and Villanova University, where he studied business administration and finance.
“Bob has been a valued advisor to the Pennsylvania Biotech Center for years, both as a banker and as an all-around supporter,” said Louis P. Kassa III, the chief executive officer of the three nonprofits.
“This is an essential leadership position, particularly because of our continual growth over the past few years, and Bob was a natural choice.”
