Bucks County Technical School Offering Summer Career Exploration Courses

A technical school in Bucks County will begin to offer career courses for those looking to figure out which job is best for them.

The Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, located at 2740 York Road in Jamison, is offering Summer Career Exploration courses in July for students entering 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th grades. The Summer Career Exploration Program provides week-long career enrichment opportunities for students so they can begin to focus on career pathways.

Students have the chance to enroll in courses such as Drafting & Design, Cosmetology, Medical & Health, Computer Networking, and more.

Classes are offered during the week of July 17 – 21. The morning session runs from 8 – 11 AM.  The afternoon session runs from 12 – 3 PM. Students may register for one or both sessions. The cost of the program is $150 per course.

The school offers courses for students at Centennial, Central Bucks, Council Rock, and New Hope-Solebury School Districts.  Middle Bucks Institute of Technology operates as a school of choice designed for students who are seeking to enhance their educational program with a highly relevant career and technical experience connected directly to the real world of business and industry.  Over 400 business and industry advisors review and update the school’s educational program annually.
