Yardley Museum Welcomes Writers of All Levels to Upcoming Poetry Workshop

A museum in Bucks County will be hosting a literary event for writers of all levels to enjoy the beauty of writing poetry.

The Gather Place Museum, located in Yardley, will be hosting a community poetry writing workshop on April 30. The event will be held at 188 South Canal Street from 2 – 3:30 PM.

Open to all writers of all levels of skill, the event has been set up for an interactive community event that will promote a creative outfit for families and friends around the area.

Set up in the early 1800s by African Americans that had moved to Bucks County, the church is now home to Gather Place, housing several artifacts related to the area’s history. The new museum location recently has an open house, where residents and tourists were able to see a side of Bucks County history that is not much talked about.
