Several areas in Bucks County will be taking unused prescription drugs and medications in order to keep their communities safe. Ed Doyle wrote about the two location for TAP Into Doylestown.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is held on April 21 and several spots in Bucks County will have drug take-back locations. The purpose of this is to safely dispose of expired or unused prescription drugs and medications so that they do not end up in water supplies or cause harm to others.

Two locations in Doylestown will serve as take-back locations. Dyolestown Health, located at 595 West State Street, will serve as a major location for the collections. Weis Market, located at 73 Old Dublin Pike, will serve as the other.

The Doylestown Township Police Department will also accept drop-offs.

These are just a few locations offering local residents the opportunity to keep themselves and others safe.
