The structure has stood atop the park for many years.

One of the most recognizable monuments in Bucks County has been moved from its longtime spot to make way for a new structure.

The Rubber Duckie statue, which has stood atop the popular Sesame Place amusement park in Langhorne for decades, has been moved to another part of the park as the new “Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores” attraction. Fans of the park voted online to have it moved to the “Neighborhood” section of the park.

“Thank you to everyone who participated in the vote to find Rubber Duckie a new home at Sesame Place!” the park said online. “Stay tuned as we will announce the lucky voter next week!”

This is not the only recent change that the park has seen. The Sesame Street water tower, the largest advertisement for the popular Sesame Place theme park in Bucks County, is finally being demolished. As of April 11, only the top of the structure had been taken down.
