C&N Bank has promoted two internal professionals and added a third to augment its human resources team. Cody Bowen and Dusty Zeyn have been promoted, and Jonathan Grissinger is the new hire.

The structural adjustments go to highlight the team’s increased ability to acquire and retain talented teammates who excel in their fields. They also underscore the important role the human resources team plays in the continued success and growth of C&N.

Cody Bowen

Cody Bowen was promoted to SVP/Talent Acquisition and Development Manager. Bowen has been an integral part of the C&N team for 18 years, previously serving as Training & Development Manager. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position.

As Talent Acquisition and Development Manager, Bowen will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment and sourcing strategies to attract top-tier candidates who align with the C&N culture.

In addition, he will work to align employee development with C&N’s strategic plan, emphasizing individual growth to achieve corporate and personal goals. This guidance will begin with onboarding and continue through performance management and career pathing/counseling. He will also lead the Employee Development Team in the identification and design of trainings to ensure the C&N workforce is effective, efficient, and nimble to meet current and future needs.

Bowen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Mansfield University and has completed the Pa. Bankers School of Banking and the Tioga County Adult Leadership Program.

He has also served as a volunteer with Wellsboro Little League for 15 years. In his personal life, Bowen enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family, including his wife Ashley and their children Maddie, Caden, and Savvy.

Dusty Zeyn

Dusty Zeyn has been promoted to the position of Employee Development Manager.

She will be responsible for identifying and assessing training needs for all C&N employees, supervising and leading the Training & Development team and continuing to develop, implement, and monitor employee development opportunities to support the needs of the organization.

During her time at C&N, she worked as a Training & Development Specialist, where she organized, planned, and facilitated a variety of programs, including New Employee Orientation and the Client/Seller Engagement Blueprint for C&N’s retail teams. Zeyn also created and updated course content and training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.

Zeyn’s educational background includes a B.S. in Paralegal Studies/Legal Assistant from Pennsylvania College of Technology and an M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is currently working toward a Doctorate in Public Administration at West Chester University.

Aside from her work at C&N, Zeyn has a passion for community service and is an active member of C&N’s Diversity & Inclusion Team.

She also assists with coaching her daughter’s softball team and regularly volunteers to work in the concession stand for Wellsboro Little League. In her free time, she enjoys spending some good old fashioned quality time with husband Josh, daughter Madison, and family friends.

Jonathan Grissinger

Jonathan Grissinger has joined the C&N team as the new Total Rewards Manager.

In his new role, Grissinger will enhance and develop strategies for benefits, compensation and programs that attract, retain, and motivate talented colleagues, while ensuring compliance with compensation laws and regulations.

Grissinger brings four years of experience in the financial services industry to his new role at C&N Bank.

Prior to joining the bank, Grissinger served as Technical HRIS (human resources information system) Business Analyst, Compensation and HRIS Manager, and Compensation Analyst at Fulton Financial Corporation, headquartered in Lancaster. There, he led the development and administration of compensation programs, performed job evaluations for all levels of employees, and consulted with managers in matters related to corporate salary administration.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute, which is a program through Strayer University. He is also a member of WorldatWork, an organization dedicated to elevating employee experiences and driving organizational performance through rewards.

When he is not working, Grissinger enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Twila, and their children Lilly, Matthew, and Violet. He also enjoys exploring local attractions and supporting the tourism industry in Lancaster County. Grissinger also cares about causes that support children, provide economic empowerment, and focus on poverty alleviation.

“We believe that our teammates are our greatest asset, and that investing in team growth and development is essential to our continued success. Dusty, Cody, and Jonathan bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles and will play a critical role in driving our company forward,” said Tracy Watkins, C&N Chief Human Resources Officer.
