Bucks County-Based Girl Scout Troop Helps Clean Up Local Park for ‘Spring Cleaning Day’

The local Girl Scout troop helped clean up the area.

A Girl Scout troop from Bucks County recently helped int he clean-up of a historic property in the area.

Girl Scout Troop 2552, based in Levittown, recently made their way to the Village of Fallsington to help clean up the area in a effort to keep the property in pristine condition.

“Various Scouts and their families worked hard on Sunday (4/23) by pulling weeds, raking leaves, collecting branches, and sanding then painting some new-to-us outside seating,” Historic Fallsington, Inc. said online.

The clean-up comes before the property hosts their Spring Sale & Open House, currently scheduled for May 6 from 8 AM – 3 PM.

“It’s community partnerships like this that make our work so enjoyable and worthwhile. Huzzah to the Girl Scouts and all those that work with us to make Fallsington such a great place to live and work.”
