Earning money through remote work is highly desirable. However, not all of them are worth pursuing, and some of them are kind of a scam. Here are remote jobs you should avoid, according to GoBankingRates.  

Online Surveys 

While it may seem like an easy way to make money, a lot of them only pay a dime per survey taken, which is not worth your time. That’s not enough to make a minimum wage salary.  

Multi-Level Marketing 

MLM’s are basically sales pyramid schemes. They involve purchasing products to sell and build a team of people to work “under” you. People earn commissions based on other people’s sales. However, this only works for people at the top, who entice sales associates with their lucrative salaries that soon run dry.  

Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Jobs  

While this industry seemed promising at once, it still has its faults. The fast-paced industry may not be compatible with people who are looking to slow down with a remote job. The tasks are also found to be quite tedious.
