The structure has stood atop the park for many years.

One of the most recognizable monuments in Bucks County is being moved from its longtime spot to make way for a new structure.

The Rubber Duckie statue, which has stood atop the popular Sesame Place amusement park in Langhorne for decades, is being moved to another part of the park as the new “Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores” attraction. This is just one of many new spots for children and their families to visit at the renowned water park.

“Our giant Rubber Duckie needs a new home in the park and you can help us pick the spot!” the park said online.

Much like the infamous Sesame Place water town and the neighboring Sheraton Hotel, the giant duck could be seen for miles off of I-95 and other parts of Bucks County.

While the structure is being moved from its longtime hime, it will remain within the park. Sesame Place is currently hosting a vote on their official Instagram account, which will determine where the beloved duck should be moved to.
