Last year, Parx was the top land-based earner even without a designated smoking section and gross gaming revenue of about $598.6 million.

One of the most popular establishments in Bucks County is gearing up to build a hotel complex for their countless customers. Damon C. Williams wrote about the new structure for the Burlington County Times.

The Parx Casino complex on Street Road in Bensalem will soon be getting another addition, a 300-room Parx Casino Hotel with a rooftop restaurant and much more.

“A hotel has always been a part of Parx casino’s plans,” said Mike Meginniss, legal counsel for the Parx Casino Hotel project.

On Monday, Parx was given a green light from Bensalem Township Council to start building a luxury hotel on Street Road.

Groundbreaking on the project is scheduled for later this year, and the work is expected to be completed in 2025.

The hotel will feature 13 stories, 11 of which will be guest spaces with 300 regular-stay rooms. The top two floors will feature a presidential suite along with four other high-end suites. The amenities will include a coffee shop, spa, and fitness center, among others.
