The human mind is one of the most complex and fascinating things on the planet. During this weeklong program, high school students will dig deep into understanding why people do what they do and learn how to support them.

The Get Psyched program is designed to take students on a journey of discovery as they learn about typical development to prevention and treatment of mental health issues.

Led by GMercyU’s Psychology faculty, students will participate in workshops and discussions to explore areas including personality, social psychology, lifespan development, counseling skills, leadership, positive psychology, and human behavior across a number of settings.

Each day, students will be given time for self-care through mindfulness physical and creative expression, and open time for personal reflection. Small groups will be used to facilitate discussion and mentorship.
