The hospital received a donation from the groups, collected from their latest charity ride.

Several Bucks County groups associated with motorcycles and their riders presented a check to a local hospital after their annual charity ride.

St. Mary Medical Center’s Breast Center recently received a donation of $6,000 from motorcycle retailers Stars & Stripes Harley-Davidson, located at 600 South Flowers Mill Road in Langhorne.

The retailer worked with the Bucks County Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Chapter to organize their 11th Annual Pink Your Ride for MIA (Motorcyclists Increasing Awareness), a charity ride that gathers money for breast cancer research. The ride took place on Oct. 22.

The ride is organized by sisters Jacky and Terry Bingert, who lost their sister, Mia, to breast cancer. The sister have been organizing the annual ride through Bucks County with the groups for the past decade and have been able to collect money for important cancer research.

Senator Frank Farry and Representative Joe Hogan were also present at the event.

The next charity ride is currently scheduled for Oct. 22 of this year.
