Regarded by many as one of the best parts of Pennsylvania, Bucks County recently ranked very high in a number of markers for a good life. Staff writers for Stacker wrote about the area and its rankings.

Bucks County was ranked #11 out of 30 for the areas of the state with the longest average expectancy. With the average citizen living to 79.5, this is a year and a half years above the statewide average.

Along with this amazing ranking, the county’s ranking for health outcomes in the state was #7, and the quality of life was ranked at #4.

Local towns such as Doylestown, Newtown, New Hope, and Yardley are constantly being ranked as some of the best places to live not just in the county or the state, but the entire country.
