A health center has announced that they will be opening a new location in Bucks County in order to offer important services to local women. John George wrote about the new business for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Athena OB/GYN, which is part of the Axia Women’s Health network, recently opened a new location in Langhorne’s Town Center Drive, right across from the Oxford Valley Mall.
The center will be the company’s first in the Bucks County area.
“We had a unique opportunity to partner with a group of well-established, seasoned OB/GYNs in the Abington area,” said Michael Amerstein, Axia’s senior vice president of operations.
“They had a desire to be in a more entrepreneurial model that allowed them the flexibility to have clinical autonomy, partner with other women’s health experts, and grow and expand not only their skill set but to also offer their services in multiple locations.”
