The Bucks County native is using the area as the backdrop to her latest work.

A Bucks County native is continuing a series where she discusses her life growing up in the area through the use of fictional characters.

Diane Campbell-Green, who grew up in Yardley, utilizes the places and people she grew up around in the area as the backdrop for many of her written works. Most recently, the author has used the town as the setting for her semi-autobiographical work, “Becky Likes Boys”.

Now a resident of the state of Florida, Green harkens back to her childhood to craft a well-written story about the coming-of-age of a young woman, using the beautiful setting of Bucks County to tell her story.

A relatable book for people of all ages, Green is one of many successful writers to come out of the area. Using her hometown to tell the story of her latest book is one example of how Bucks County is a unique area, full of stories yet to be told.
