A man known for helping a Bucks County little league has seen his community work together to help him in a time of need. Christopher Dornblaser wrote about the local man for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Charlie Howard, 92, has been helping the Morrisville Little League for decades. At his age, he requires help getting around, which is why he has become known for using his favorite means of transportation: a golf cart.

However, Howard recently saw his beloved cart stolen. To show their support for him, the team and other members of the community have worked together to raise funds for a new cart.

“As you may or may not have heard, our beloved Charlie Howard’s golf cart was stolen during the District 21 tournament over the summer,” the GoFundMe page said.

“Anyone who has been to Williamson Park knows that Charlie and Morrisville Little League are synonymous. Charlie has been a fixture at the Morrisville Little League fields for nearly 35 years.”
