The senator came to Bucks County to see the impact the organization has on the community.

A Bucks County social services organization was recently listed by a local politician, who saw the impact they have in the community.

Senator Bob Casey recently visited United Way of Bucks County’s HELP Center, located in Bristol, in order to see the good that the organization is doing for the Bucks County community. Short for the “Healthy Eating and Living Partnership”, the center helps to feed local residents who are facing food insecurity and/or struggling financially.

“Even if the government is doing all that we can, we’re going to need the help of centers like this and dedicated Americans like all of you,” Casey said. “I want to thank you for all that you do; not only in Bristol and throughout the county, but what you’re doing for your country. You’re doing God’s work at a time when we’ve never needed it more.”

The senator toured the premises and talked with several organizers, including Marissa Christie, the organization’s President & CEO.
