A New Starbucks Location is Being Proposed for Milford Township, Giving Local Residents a New Coffee Spot
A Bucks County township is floating the idea of a new coffee shop, which would be located in a busy development for local residents. Kari Dimmick wrote about the new spot for WFMZ 69 News.
The Milford Township board of supervisors granted conditional use of Milford Village, a mixed-use development in the township, for a new Starbucks location this week.
The new coffee spot would be one of several parts of the conditional use project to be implemented. Talks of medical facilities, senior housing, at-market housing, and several retail centers were also Brough up in the recent board meeting.
One of the most contentious issues for the new coffee spot would be the parking. “This is a zoning issue, and needs to be approved by them first before it comes to land development approval,” said Susan Edwards, a member of the township’s planning commission.
With plans going in the direction that they are currently moving, a new Starbucks looks to be in the works for local residents, who will be able to use the new spot as a community gathering place for food and coffee.
