A mega-mansion in Moorestown that recently hit the market for a whopping $24.95 million is officially the most expensive home ever listed in South Jersey, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The 44,000-square-foot estate is owned by the former husband-and-wife leaders of Tabula Rasa HealthCare. Dr. Calvin H. Knowlton and Dr. Orsula V. Knowlton stepped down from the Moorestown-based company’s helm in September amid pressure from an outside investor and are now looking to relocate from the area.

The mansion cost around $27 million to build. The estate, which sits on 7.7 acres, took close to six years to construct and is currently around 90 percent complete.

The current state of the home leaves room for future owners “to put their own handprint on it,” said listing agent Kevin Steiger of Sotheby’s International Realty.

The four-floor home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It boasts six fireplaces, three elevators, and an indoor pool. The many other amenities include a car elevator that can bring vehicles up to the specifically designed display space, a golf simulator where you can play any course in the world, and a movie theater.
