A Bucks County organization recently teamed up with SEPTA to teach important lessons on transportation to local students. Staff writers at the Lower Bucks Times wrote about the recent event.

Students from the Pennsbury School District learned about the process of boarding and leaving a bus, a skill that will help them in their commutes before and after graduation. TMA Bucks showed students the ins and outs of these processes, as well as teaching them to be comfortable with the practice, as it will serve them well in their travels.

“These types of training events are a great opportunity to get students that are learning life skills comfortable with the data of utilizing public transit to get around,” said TMA Bucks deputy director David Walter.

“The calm and controlled environment is a perfect setting that allows the students to not feel overwhelmed and spend as much time as possible asking any important questions they may have.”
