A Bucks County sports association is working to ensure that local children can enjoy playing their favorite sport as a team and a community. Staff writers at the Lower Bucks Times wrote about the recent tennis games.

The Bucks County Tennis Association recently hosted programs for the “Kids On Court” series, which aims to promote the sport to young players. 24 players from around the Bucks County area participated in the event.

“It truly was a memorable day that we will never forget,” said Stacey Malicki, a woman from Doylestown whose daughter, Kayla, played in the event.

The young players teamed up to play in the tournament, where they learned new skills and utilized current skills to play the sport in a fun and yet competitive manner.

“[It was] an incredible experience for our family,” said Daniella Munn, a Warrington woman whose son, Lucas, also played. “Our son smiled from ear to ear throughout the day, and the event further deepened his love and interest in the sport.”
