The Doylestown organization will help to bring the holiday spirit to the borough.

Event organizers in Bucks County are looking for volunteers to help them decorate one of their most famous towns for the holiday season.

Discover Doylestown, a local organization that is headquartered at 63 East State Street in Doylestown, will be organizing the annual decoration of the town with Christmas and holiday decorations. The event will begin on Nov. 12 at 9 PM.

“Tools are no longer needed to hang the snowflakes, the process will be much quicker using 2 heavy duty extra large plastic ties that we will provide,” event organizers said on their sign-up page. “Volunteers will work in pairs and will need a 6 ft ladder. Extra ladders will not be available. You must bring your own.”

Volunteers who arrive will work in pairs. They must have a six-foot ladder to reach the outlets that lights will be hung and mounted on.

Since 1989, the organization has been overseeing community events like this in the borough. Known for its rich history in Bucks County, it is one of the most most beautifully decorated areas during Christmas time.
