Executive Director of Bristol-Based Agency Recognized Among Other ‘Women of Distinction’ in Philadelphia Area

The local businesswoman was acknowledged for her work in the Bucks County area.

A staff member of a Bucks County business agency has recently been recognized for her achievements within the local area. Lisa Dukart wrote about the local woman for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Billie Barnes, the Executive Director for the Bucks County Workforce and Economic Development, was recently listed as an honoree of the business publication’s 2022 Women of Distinction.

“Now in its 27th year, the Women of Distinction program recognizes women in the business community who are blazing a trail at their respective companies, are respected for accomplishments within their fields, give back to the community and are sought out as respected advisors and mentors.,” the publication said before its list.

Barnes was listed among other women who work in the fields of nonprofits, law, and small business.

The organization will recognize all of the women listed at an event at the Crystal Tea Room on Nov. 17.
