The new assistant principal has a long history in the local education circuit.

A local middle school just recently announced the most recent addition to their staff: a brand new assistant principal.

Robert K. Shafer Middle School, part of the Bensalem Township School District, recneryly named Joseph Crane as their new Assistant Principal. Crane was chosen for the position after a meeting of the Bensalem Township Board of School Directors in late September.

Crane has taught within the school district for four years, having taught Reading and Business Technology at the middle school.

Before this, he taught fifth grade at John Marshall Elementary School in Philadelphia.

“I am excited to continue to support the Shafer Community in my new role as Assistant Principal,” Crane said in a statement. “I will also continue to support the district’s mission of ensuring a first class education for the whole child that challenges and supports each student to discover a passion for learning while designing and achieving a personal vision of success.”
