Several hospitals in the Bucks County area are gearing up for the upcoming flu season with top-notch medical technologies. Peg Quann wrote about the local hospitals for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Doylestown Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center are just some of the local hospitals that are working hard to make sure that they are prepared for the common cold and even more severe illnesses as winter approaches.

With both preparing for possible influenza outbreaks, along with the remnants of the COVID-19 pandemic, each hospital is keeping up to date with their vaccines and other health and wellness tools to keep local residents healthy and disease-free this season.

“This flu season has the potential to be severe, so we are encouraging Pennsylvanians to get their flu shot and COVID-19 booster together to keep our communities safe,” said Dr. Denise Johnson, Pennsylvania’s physician general. “Influenza is serious and can be deadly, which is why it is important that Pennsylvanians receive their flu vaccine.”
