The manufacturing company is going to call Bucks County their new home.

A major manufacturer from the Philadelphia area just announced that they will be moving their operations to the Bensalem area. Dino Ciliberti wrote about the major business news for the Roxborough-Manayunk Patch.

Weber Display & Packaging, currently located at 3500 Richmond Street in Philadelphia, has announced that they will be moving their headquarters and main center to Bensalem. The new location will be at 4630 Somerton Road in the Bucks County township.

Recently, township officials spoke with the owners at Weber and determined that the move would be good for the infrastructure and business environment of Bensalem.

“Weber has been looking for years,” Attorney Edward Murphy said during the meetings. “It’s so heavily dependent on its employees. Weber was reluctant to relocate. It had a limited radius. Bensalem was one of them. So no attrition.”

Weber has a long history in the City of Brotherly Love. Having been in operation for 130, the owners recently determined that a move to a smaller area would be the best move for them and their customers.
